Learn about the Portfolio Tracking tool. A brief explanation of each section

On the portfolio page, you can track multiple portfolios of your stocks and dividends earned from each. The dropdown at the top of page allows you to change your portfolio and cycle through different accounts.

Example: Empty Portfolio

This is what the portfolio page looks like when you have no portfolio created. Click the "Add Portfolio" button. to start tracking.

Select between Manual Tracking and Automatic Brokerage Linking.

This is what a portfolio with no stocks looks like. You need to add stocks/funds with the "Refresh Auto Link", "Add New Investment", and "Bulk Upload New Stocks" buttons. These are explained across multiple help articles.

Example: Full Portfolio Page

With a full portfolio, you can gain insights on your investments. This information spans across the "Portfolio Overview", "Diversification", "Projected Income" "Dividend Insights", "Upcoming Dividends", "Activity", and "Settings" tab.

Example: Combined View

By Default, the "Your Portfolio" page shows all your combined accounts.

Example: Select Specific Portfolio

In the portfolio selection bar at the top of page, choose a specific account.

Once selected, you can view and edit the individual portfolio.

Explained: Portfolio Overview

The portfolio overview tab shows your entire portfolio of stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. View the overall portfolio for Total Value, Dollars Invested, Day's ($) Change, Day's (%) Change, Unrealized Gain/Loss ($), and Total Return (%). Additionally, view the individual metrics for each holding in your portfolio.

Explained: Diversification

View the diversification of your portfolio by current total value. You can see this both by individual stocks and sector grouping. There is also a full table showing value and cost diversification of the selected portfolio.

Explained: Projected Income

View the Projected Dividend Income of the selected portfolio. See a summary with annual, quarterly, monthly, daily, and hourly income calculations. See a calendar of projected dividends, viewable by table and graph. Also, observe the diversification of your annual projected income.

Explained: Dividend Insights

The dividend insights tab shows various dividend analytics for all your stocks/holdings. The summary stats include projected annual income, dividend yield, yield on cost, yield on cost + DRIP, and the dividend snowball effect.

Explained: Upcoming Dividends

On the selected account, view all stocks/funds with dividends declared and payable after the current date. This gives you a view of your dividend payments coming soon.

Explained: Dividend History

On the selected account, track your earned dividends. This will create a historical record of your income overtime. View this data graphically and through tables. Also, see the diversification of those earned dividends.

Explained: Portfolio Activity

View all the individual transactions that fill up your selected account's portfolio and dividend history. You can select and delete a specific row if you found an error.

Explained: Portfolio Settings

The settings tab let's you delete your portfolio, select DRIP share cost inclusion, or manually set your portfolio Dollars Invested. This allows you to calculate your true total return from dividend investing. Reinvested Dividends and Capital Gains are not a cost. This dollars invested variable should represent the money used to initially fund your account.
